چکیده
The effect and relative contributions of C P inputs on soil microbial biomass (MBP) accumulation were studied in three long-term fertility experiments with various climate characteristics at Qiyang, Yangling, Wulumuqi. maximum MBP all sites was 47.8 mg kg-1. accumulated per unit (mg kg-1 soil) correlated a 4.91 increase Olsen P. For each surplus (kg ha-1), manure stubble increased by 330, 3.7, 13 units (μg soil), respectively. positively crop yield uptake, making the useful index. critical levels pool 140 kg ha-1, 57–62 33–35 ha-1 acidic red soil, loessial grey desert This is first report to establish quantitative index based pool. Our findings demonstrate that input good driver accumulation. Integration as an into agricultural management help manage mineral fertilizers part sustainable practices.

Does Soil Disturbance Affect Soil Phosphorus Fractions?
Increased turnover of organic matter as a result of soil disturbance (e.g. by soil tillage) is described in principle, but the direct influence of soil disturbance on soil P turnover especially for organic farming systems has not been sufficiently proven. The objective of the study was to evaluate the short term effect of soil disturbance on different soil P fractions in a soil shaking experime...
متن کاملAltitudinal Gradient of Microbial Biomass Phosphorus and Its Relationship with Microbial Biomass Carbon, Nitrogen, and Rhizosphere Soil Phosphorus on the Eastern Slope of Gongga Mountain, SW China
Microbial biomass phosphorus (MBP) is one of the most active forms of phosphorus (P) in soils. MBP plays an important role in the biogeochemical P cycle. To explore MBP distribution and its relationship with other factors, the MBP and rhizosphere soil P concentrations and fractions in six vegetation zones on the eastern slope of Gongga Mountain in SW China were investigated. The MBP distributio...
متن کاملSoil Microbial Biomass Determination
Basic Idea: The quantity of microbial biomass in a given soil sample is inherently difficult to measure. To some degree, any measurement of microbial biomass is relative – different methodologies or variations in methodologies will yield microbial biomass estimates that are not directly comparable. For this reason, if you want to measure microbial biomass – choose a method and stick with it exa...
متن کاملExtraction of soil organic phosphorus.
Organic phosphorus is an important component of soil biogeochemical cycles, but must be extracted from soil prior to analysis. Here we critically review the extraction of soil organic phosphorus, including procedures for quantification, speciation, and assessment of biological availability. Quantitative extraction conventionally requires strong acids and bases, which inevitably alter chemical s...
متن کاملAlberta Soil Phosphorus Limits Project
Agricultural systems often require added phosphorus to achieve optimum crop and livestock production. The application of soil amendments, such as inorganic fertilizers, manure, biosolids, and waste water, can improve soil fertility and help produce optimum crop yields. However, many of these amendments, particularly organic materials such as animal manure, are often applied in excess of crop nu...
